Kindergarten and 1st grade lining up pennies for the Penny Walk.  Proceeds got to local food bank.

Derby Days to Begin April 20th – The classes are busy preparing their horses for Derby Days.  Classes are in the process of naming their horses and planning their strategies.  Each class has a can to collect coins.  Each donation of a penny moves the horse forward.  Donations of silver coins cause the horse to go backwards.  You can only imagine the fun we have with this race during Derby Days as the classes attempt to move the horses in the lead backwards by strategically adding silver coins.  With Easter Break ahead, Derby Days really are rounding the corner!  Save those coins!
