On special days when the students are permitted to come to school out of uniform (i.e. birthdays school-sponsored activities), it is the responsibility of the parents to ensure clothing appropriate to the spirit of our Catholic school. Students whose birthday falls on a Mass day or on a day that a field trip is scheduled must wear their regular uniform and schedule an alternate out-of-uniform day with his or her teacher.
Jeans (without holes) may be worn as well as athletic shoes and t-shirts. Clothing must be modest and appropriate. Shirts may not have inappropriate words or pictures on them; pants must be clean and properly sized for both girls and boys, tank tops, tops with spaghetti straps, or crop tops that leave the midriff area bare above the waistband are not permitted; shorts or skirts may not be more than three inches above the knee.
Parents may be called to bring a uniform to school for any student whom the principal determines is dressed inappropriately. Normal daily school rules regarding jewelry and make-up will apply on these days also. MARKING CLOTHES AND POSSESSIONS/LOST AND FOUND
Please label ALL of your child’s belongings with name and grade. As a security precaution we recommend placing name on the inside of these items. Items that have not been marked with the owner's name will be placed in the lost and found located in the school’s cafeteria. Items not claimed within a reasonable amount of time will be donated to charity.
